Whatever was done in the society of that time, he declared unlimited jihad against it. And in this way his name is associated with the history of progressive people.
Nicholas was born into a merchant family. Most of the time, the members of the merchant family stay out for work. They have a heavy duty on their heads. At the same time, they are addicted to winning the country and earning money. No baby Nicholas. Bob used to go through lozenges and toffees before going into business. He would say, 'Nicholas, don't be upset. I will come back and tell you many new stories.
But he did not have many days in his happy life. One day suddenly the news came that his father was no more, his father had died. Dad is no more, the ten year old boy didn't understand anything. Nicholas looked at the weeping mother, not understanding what was happening. From now on he was lonely.
Many say Nicholas became a defendant at that age. Some scoundrels have been exploiting people in various ways for a long time, now they have to put an end to the days of exploitation - such a conviction was born in the mind of the boy Nicholas.
Nicolas left the house and moved to his uncle's house. His uncle was a realist. It was his nature to search for the real truth in the depths of any word. He was a prominent bishop of Poland. Nicholas, a teenager of that day, had a protesting attitude when he came close to his uncle. His uncle made up for the lack of his father.
In 1492, at the age of nineteen, Copernicus was admitted to the famous University of Krakow, Poland. Admission clearance was not easily available. Only if you passed many difficult exams would you be allowed to enter this university. Nicholas showed remarkable achievement in every admission test. The professors were amazed at his quality. Nicholas Copernicus studied astronomy while a university student. But what a cruel irony of fate. Mama wanted her niece to be a medical scientist. Will serve the needy. So the desire of the mind to be admitted to the Department of Medical Copernicus is to be admitted. He studied with quality. He passed the last test in that test. Mama's wish did not keep the three unfulfilled. After graduating with a doctorate, he devoted himself to the service of the human soul.

The basic premise of astronomy in those days was an idea of the Greek philosopher Ptolemy. At the dawn of human civilization, he declared that the earth was the center of the solar system. This doctrine was accepted by all as infallible. In other words, all the thoughts of that time were based on this doctrine. Nicholas was the first to declare jihad against this doctrine. He discovered the heliocentric theory. The gist of this theory is that not everyone in the solar system, not even the earth, is stable. They are all moving in their own orbits. Their orbit revolves around the sun.
Today we consider this theory to be the absolute truth. But when Nicholas first preached it, the situation was quite different. Nicholas was soon identified as a traitor. He was rebuked in many ways. Not only that, he also had to be physically abused. Until the end of time, however, this theory of Nicholas was accepted by the pundits. But in his lifetime he did not see the recognition of this doctrine. Didn't see how Pope Gregory revised the calendar in 1582 based on heliocentric theory.
In addition to being a controversial scientist, he was a prominent collaborator who, after joining the work of the church, translated 65 poems from the famous seventh-century Byzantine poet Theophilactus Seemacotta from Greek into Latin.
In 1543, this zealous scientist breathed his last. We will not just call him an astronomer. He was simultaneously a linguist, physician, mathematician, priest, economist and politician. The combination of so many qualities in one person really amazes us.
